Simon Gledhill

Simon is currently employed as a Social Worker, Adopter, Foster Carer and Independent Vice Chair for Fostering panels. ​

He served as a Police Officer for 7 years, becoming the force’s youngest Sergeant. ​

Following encounters with families in crisis, Simon developed a passion for children in care, leading Simon to re- train as a Social Worker and becoming a Foster Carer.​

Simon has held a range of roles within the Social Care sector, primarily as an Independent Social Worker, and as a Fostering Panel Chair. ​

He and his wife Laura, specialise in the long-term care of ‘hard to place’ children. Alongside their two birth children, they care for two foster children and one adopted child.​
